Look, if Lescott’s asked about it post-match then it’s whatever, I don’t think he’s said anything too egregious there even if I don’t personally agree with his assessment.
The real issue to me is how the media is running with it all. Hell, the fact that Lescott was even asked to begin with is bad enough. Same as how his comments after the Everton game got picked apart in the most ridiculous ways. The sports media landscape in this country is in the fucking sewers.
