  1. Happy Onana is back in the squad. Hopefully we can put the game to bed early and take Tielemans, rogers and other important players off as soon as possible

Decent bench if we need it there. Would rather him have rested Tielemans and Watkins, but hey ho.

    UTFV!!!!!!

Pretty much what I’d expected minus Watkins for Guessand. Hopefully we can get a couple of early goals and give Tielemans and Cash the second half off.

  4. Second string CBs finally getting the chance to play together. Onana on the bench as well is lovely.

  5. I hadn’t given a huge amount of thought about today’s match, but I like that Konsa has been rested, already having CB injury issues this season, and what happened last season contributed to us missing champions league.

I do find it kinda interesting how it seems like Sancho is now focused on being a right winger instead of a left, I believe he’s right footed so I am guessing this means Unai wants him to stay wider, and to play other players into the box, instead of being there himself? In fairness he seems great until he’s in the box from what I’ve seen so far, ignoring his defensive contributions.

Onana back on bench! Mings starting! Konsa rested! Sancho panicking for 60 mins and Hemmings replacing him for 30 mins of brilliance! 2 early ones from Morgz and take him off before Duran has a chance to break his legs! Youri all over Asensio like a little octopus! 3-1 Villa

  7. Pray Onana doesn’t come on. Glad to see him on the bench but we really need him in the prem now we have no Kamara. Shows just how important those two are. When one plays but the other doesn’t it’s fine but when both are missing it shows how much control we lose in midfield.

  8. Buendia and Tielemans together seldom works…

    Too lightweight in my opinion.

I’ll call it that Onana is brought in for Buendia at half time or soon after…
