Nothing? He had an injury for Palace, wanted to play second half but doctors wouldn’t let him, and literally only just came back for Everton. Makes sense to play Bizot if he is still recovering… and even if not frankly most of us were surprised Bizot wasn’t the Europa League starting keeper anyway.

It was strange when he went off at half time. He didn’t seem in any discomfort prior to that too. I’m over here praying he retires with us.

If he wasn’t going to be playing anyway and is still carrying whatever bit of an injury then of course it wouldn’t make sense to have him travel.

I’m sure he’s just resting, but it’s clear he’s managing some sort of injury.
What was interesting is that the Everton game was the first game in a while where he wasn’t constantly stretching whilst play was happening down the other end. He also seemed much more comfortable stretching to collect crosses. So I’m hoping this is just managing his minutes more than anything else.

He probably goes in summer. So if England don’t win the WC, please Argentina, defend it🙏. Raises the fee we get for him at the least.

Loved Emi, even understood the mess at the start of the season but purely football terms hes cost us at least as much as hes saved us over the last 2 seasons, and if you lool at the man u game last season he cost us alot more

Either that or he had another one of of those injuries/ recurring one and he’ll be back for Newcastle.
