After Trump's threats there is a worldwide call to boycott FIFA 2026 Worlds. It is painful for us Norwegians that Norway along with the best soccer nations in Europe may join a boycott of the FIFA Worlds 2026 if Trump follows through with a military attack against a European ALLIED country. Isn’t going to happen. Been calls for boycotts countless times before and no one ever does.
FIFA allowing trump to use the tournament to round up people for ICE is enough to boycott the tournament
If Trump annexes Greenland things will be much worse than a football boycott.
Not saying it’ll be war but it’d be like going to the Olympics *after* Hitler invaded Czechoslovakia.

I laughed at it being labeled a last resort by the German fellow. That tells you it will never happen.
IF? just fucking do it, what if he decided to postpone it for after the WC ends? will it be fine to attend? No.
Nobody boycotted Qatar or Russia. Qatar used slave labor to build stadiums and Russia had already invaded Ukraine when Russia hosted the World Cup.
If it happens, I would support a Europe-wide boycott (and possible alternative competition).

Won’t work. We boycott Qatar for treating migrant workers like trash , yet it’s praised for having the beta final of all time and nobody cared about the bad stuff
As a Canadian who is in one of the host city of Vancouver I wholly support this. We will suffer some economic loss at this, but if he invades Greenland then there is no stopping him invading Canada
And maybe host the important last few matches in Canada

I am so looking forward to see if German team will have the guts to repeat the same gesture which they showed in the last cup. I mean things are surely much more worse.
