Sure – that makes sense. There are lots of people. Lucrative tv deals and sponsorships will be available just because of the number of eyes on the aforementioned leagues.
With that being said, the same way hardly anybody from outside of the US cares about American Football, the world hardly cares about cricket. All of the hype and prestige of these leagues are contained/limited to regions.
