      I think Joao Cancelo should stay with us. We should not sell him just because of his current "bad performance." we should give him time to regain his confidence. Don't forget Joao Cancelo is an absolute class baller. Don't let Joao's current form fool you. Moreover, I think Pep should stop experimenting unnecessarily by playing players in their unnatural positions.

      Since Pep has changed the tactics and we've been playing with 3 at the back, Cancelo has not found his place in the team. It's not a system that brings the best in him. If we stayed at the tactics of last year, then he would have continued his form. I hope Pep goes back to last season's tactics because this hasn't really been working as of late. But Cancelo is an amazing player and we should not be selling him.

      Cancelo must have fallen out with Pep. How a duffer like Ake gets picked ahead of him is beyond me. Cancelo offers great threat going forward not just crosses but also goals. Ake offers nothing. He is slow, gives the ball away frequently and isn't much better defending than Cancelo.

      Holy shit. Who is against city having a LB?! Ffs! We have ONE player that can play LB and instead of buying a true LB we’re going to sell the only player that can play the position?! That’s absurd!!!!

      joao cancelo is very valuuable to us going forward but to be very honest he isnt good defensively and that has always been man citys achiles heel, if we could keep him and he improves somewhat defensively then thats good if not then the best option is to move on from him because weve moved from the tactics of last season where he shined in order to bring haalannd into the team

      He need someone to challenge him for that spot, that's why city need to come out of its mediocre mindset and splash some cash, get one high quality left back for 50-60 million

      We shouldn't sell cancelo , nor Gomez , a loan for Gomez is good, or either him staying. Wilson-esbrandt is going out on loan to Coventry too, so we will need them both. Maybe next year is Gomez and wilson-esbrandt years. What we need is a midfielder, two wingers and a centre back. If Liam delap progresses well in his Preston north end loan , he can come straight into the first team next year. We also need mebude and Carlos Borges . I see Cole palmer as more of an central attacking midfielder , or an central midfielder than a winger. He doesn't have the pace.

      City need to spend the money on a decent left back to contend with Cancelo. Also wingers and a defensive midfielder to rotate with Rodri. As much as I’d like it to be Phillips, I really just don’t think he’s the answer.

      Lol no way. Cancelo is too versatile and too good to sell. He will eventually be our RB when Kyle Walker eventually leaves the club. We need quality fullbacks to come into the club not the other way around lol

      What the hell's going on with Cancelo …. he's a brilliant player who's currently doing his level best to make himself look crap, i thought he was happy here ….. no wonder Pep is tearing what bit of hair he's got left out, and that's not easy as its stuck in his ears!
