0:42 Re Southgateās hypothesis: Maybe. I think heās right in some ways – too much money so too many voices and hands in the pie; add to that 24/7 press/social media, & thereās no escape. However, it depends on the MAN. Itās not for the weak, GS!!!!
(Nice of Jim to disregard Parkinsonās Law because he doesnāt understand it)
Simon calling someone out for using technobabble is rich
3:58 āWhatās left of the modern managers?ā That doesnāt make senseā¦
5:25 Leader, Manager, Coach – GS is right here for England. No need to really coach, theyāre the best players; manage? Yes. The ones who are disappointed, and some disciplinary issues etc. Lead – definitely.
7:24 Terry Venables was awful, overrated, and faired worse at Euro 96 than Southgate did at both of his Euros! Venables is a myth!
8:28 Southgate is as good as United can get!!!! To not give GS a go for 5 years and leave him be would be a mistakeā¦
Southgate couldn't win a trophy coaching England's best, How's he going to win anything with Man United if he becomes the new coach.
Gareth āvery cautiousā Southgate.
please man united ….sign southgate
At the end of the day …"it get's dark!!! ššššš kills me simon.
He will be remembered as a traitor to English people and a supporter of the everything English people don't want. As will Neville.
In a different life Garrth would work for the council, have a clip board, and grass people up for having to many breaks.
Ratcliff believes he's ideal because he has no spine and will say yes and do as he's told.
Man United fans are saying that Gareth Southgate wouldn't be a good fit for Man United. Nonsense, he would be a good fit for Man United ā a perfect fit, in fact. He is exactly the right man they need at the moment, to sink the ship and get them relegated to the championship. I can't think of a manager, who would be more up to the task of achieving that elusive goal, that no Man United manager has been able to achieve since the 1970s. By God, it's been a long time coming. Could someone please step up and bring back the glory days back to Manchester City?
1:25 to skip Jim's bs
At the end of the day it gets dark ššš Jim and that charlatan Southgate demolished in one video š
Wow that was a brutal assessment by Simon on Southgate! Thereās truth there but a lot of speculation too. š
Brilliant, Simon. Southgate is a chancer. Did nothing as a club manager. Got massively favourable World Cup / European Finals stages draws with England, and did the barest minimum with them. People happy with what he did with England are part of the problem. The man is a charlatan and simpering yes-man.
Manchester Unitedās owners are the real problem and demise of the club at every level, itās only really been brought to light since Sir Alex Ferguson retired and thatās blatantly obvious, the club will always be living in the past for ever more, and itās proving so by interviewing past āPlayersā for the manager/head coach position is pointless, a waste of everyoneās time and money, these players havenāt proven themselves managing in the premier league.
Thereās a lot of articles, speculation, debates and analysis on the club especially more so today, that I donāt even watch or listen too, simply because nothing has changed and certainly no signs of changing any time soon, maybe the owners will decide to sell when the team arenāt winning any trophies and are no longer qualifying for the champions league, their cash reserves are so depleted that even the Glazers canāt be taking there thieving inflated share of the profits of which pays for there lifestyleās, we can only dream I suppose. š¤·āāļø
Southgate is a specialist in failure. Heās ideal for Ineos who donāt want titles or trophies and only want 5th place every season. Itās the Arsenal model under Wenger in the end, they needed money to build the stadium and they were content at board level with Wenger getting top 4 and never needing to dig deep to buy the players to challenge for a league title.
Jim White is a knob
10 mins of my life I can never get back. What a load of waffle!
Spot on Simon.
hes the man of the job the right man for the right job!!! Gareth demands authority hes very assertive.
It's easy for most people to think everyone who's managed England is useless, because of the relentless negative publicity which surrounds the job from our press. Southgate was relatively successful compared to other England managers but it's hard to shake the image built by the media. If he had money to spend and not just one nationality to choose from, he could do a fantastic job.
No Southgate it's about scoring more goals than the opposition it's a simple game made hard by boring coaches
Southgate should not be any were near Manchester. Average player but can't manage.
Everyone has already decided that Southgate would be a failure at Utd. Honestly, Utd have tried everything, Southgate could be the key to them getting back to where the fans expect them to be
Why is Simon spot on every time
"Sir Gareth Southgate"
lot of southgate bashing, but since 66, hes been the most successful england manager, along with bobby Robson, whether you like him or not, these are facts.
man u have had everybody under the sun, from serial winner mourinho, van gaal, moyes amorin and the rest, NO ONE HAS succeeded.
currebt best mangers in recent time pep, klopp, maybe enrique, doubt any of them will come so the rest are in same boat…
the real issue is the players are not good enuf, and at least 8 new players are needed, complete 5 year rebuild 1 solid manager, keep him on for 5 years
