Get in, Jacky boy!! Hope the club does their piece and Jack is open to reasonable wages.

Yep we are spending 50 arent we

I know a few moan he holds onto the ball a bit too long sometimes but we instantly look better going forward with him in the team.
A new fullback to support him would be great!

Not for £50M tbh. 40 tops. 30 better.

Great player who will improve with a better left back supporting him. Just praying it’s not close to £50m – I’d go as far as saying over £20m is a bit much personally, considering his wages.

Since we apparently paid around £40m for Dibbling then £50 for Jack should be a no brainer.

His partnership with KDH has been behind most of our best moments this season. While I think KDH has been our most important player, I think they’re a pairing we could really use to kick on with next season

He will only have a year left on his city contract in the summer, and I’m pretty sure a deal can be done..
Imo the majority of time we look better when he plays with Ndiaye on the other wing, KDH also a big plus to that forward line, it’s just a shame recently that he has become the only outlet for us with the other two out.

He’s a great addition. Hated him at City but he’s all in on Everton and he isn’t taking shit from no one.

In all honesty there’s more reasons for him to stay with us than go back.
*It just all falls down on City*
If we can convince them to knock his price down (and hopefully reduce his wages) it’s a no brainer.
I’m firmly in the camp of it will happen, it’s just entirely reliant on City.

With the way our club has been for so long then since it’s not my money then renegotiate the terms or just pay it. So tired of the dark years of our club.

I bet we buy him, and I bet it’s not for remotely near that 50 million buy option. He’s great, but he’s not young, City no longer have a use for him, he’d have a preference toward Everton, and I doubt anyone else would be willing to spend 50 million on him either.

Meh, not really fussed either way but if we do it needs to be cheap. People will correctly identify that one of the main problems with our team is that we are slow, indirect and don’t shoot very often but then close their eyes to the fact Grealish is maybe the leading cause of this.
He’s a good player and he’s not helped by the fact he’s having to put up with The Left Back, but he’s also soon to be 31, on massive wages and not even our best left winger. Anything over what we’ve spent this summer (12.5 million) would be overpaying on a player City absolutely do not want and would be willing to give away for nothing.

The deal needs to involve him taking a significant pay cut more than it does the £50m being reduced.

I will finally hit “BUY” on the Grealish kit order as soon as we lock this up. Just waiting…. 🙂

Not reckon they’ll loan us him again before we sign him on a free?

Get him someone decent who can put the ball in the net otherwise there’s no point

Think people are forgetting the new squad cost ratio rules coming in the summer. He could join for virtually no fee, cut his wages in half, and it still handicap our ability to make any other big transfer moves. I can’t see city letting him leave for less than £20m and I cant see him wanting to drop to 120k wages.
Clearly got quality but hasn’t done enough for me to warrant that level of faith/investment. Arguments to be made regarding the lack of fullback support and the commercial value he brings which I think are fair, and I would like him permanently, but the games gone the way of accountants these days unfortunately.

Knowing Everton this feels like confirmation hes either never signing for us or hes getting a ten year injury right after her signs.
