Jamie, just shut the fuck up and retire from click bait punditry. If you just stuck to tactical insights on defending, you would just about be bearable.

  2. Wierd that this is the same take I’ve seen from two different ex-players in as many days.

Could just be coincidence but the cynic in me wonders which one of their mates isn’t happy with the power struggle at their club.

  3. The two longest serving managers are sitting in 1st and 2nd with both probably in the Caraboa Cup final but sure.

  4. Is that not a good thing?

United have pretty much never bounced back since Sir Alex and even Arsenal have struggled and I don’t think the Wenger system was quite as mental as Sir Alex had it at United.

For long term consistency having head coaches and sporting directors seems the best way. It’s going to be bit of a change hence why all the ex-pros are all doom and gloom. But it’s no secret Carra is full of shit.

  5. Next month: ” Chelsea need a big name manager to come in. What were they thinking with Rosenior?!”

  6. Give the lad a chance to develop his team and a few transfer windows.
Think back when Wenger was unknown and came from the J-league. He eventually become a managerial legend. Not saying this lad is special at little Chelshit 😅😂

we all have to remember those wise Rosenoir words… ‘manage…man… age…we are ageing…men’ Inspirational stuff…it’ll be wrote on the walls of Chelsea.

  8. Someone should probably tell Carragher he’s about 20 years out of date. Certainly there have been no new ones since Fergie retired in 2013. When was the last ”big beast” manager? Most clubs have had essentially a head coach since the early 00s. Even someone like Pep who would be the closest modern equivalent in England is essentially an architect within a business and sporting system.

I think King Klopp would like a word, having guided the team to win everything but the kitchen sink, plus so many finals and always out to win…then there’s also the condition he left the club in, enough so, that when Arne Slot came in he didn’t really need to change anything, more of a gentle nudge to keep fighting, then they won the title.
