Stopping the clock won’t prevent teams from spending a minute on a long throw when it should just be a mechanism to resume play, not a whole set piece.

  2. While they’re at it, introduce a ‘backfield’ rule that once the ball goes into the attacking half, you can’t pass it back into your defensive half. Get all the tiki taka passing back to the keeper out of the Beautiful Game

  3. Ah can’t wait for it to not be enforced, or be given a long max time meaning it keeps the game slow.

The refs dont care/ told not to care about any time wasting at the moment anyway this will do nothing

two halves of 30 minutes. – just stop the clock when the ball goes out of play or play is stopped.

it’s only in play for ~60 minutes a game..

Allowing one handed throw and roll ins, goalkeeper style, would make the game more interesting.Â
