  1. It’s like big teams never lose in Cup games…

My gosh some of you guys need to just chill, what are you made in plastic? Not only it happens to all the “top” teams but it’s most probably a blessing in disguise for us. We need some rest we are playing too many games IMO.

  2. Well, disappointing, no back-to-back septuple for us. I’m not too mad about some extra rest from being out of the cup this early though, it’s clear the boys need it.

Regardless of the loss, what the hell happened to us. We used to humiliate teams just for fun but nowadays we barely scrap one or two goals…… am afraid to ask this but have the other teams figured out our tactics???

To strengthen my point of the lack of a consistent goalscorer, today we had only wingers and a striker who only really works when its 90+, hakimi’s absence is definitely felt, as well as the absence of Lee, Ndjantou, and Mbaye, but we need a 40+ goal a season striker to avoid embarrassments like this. This we do not have

  5. This is where it should turn around. We’ve had a pretty mid/bad season so far, after this loss it’s hopefully a wake up clock. Very disappointed to see the comments in the match thread where people obviously only support the team when we’re winning Liverpool and Arsenal away and winning the Champions league. The team has been riddled with injuries and we only got a full squad back around december, which is probably why we haven’t been able to get our form going as we all expected. Another point to make is that even last year we didn’t dominate Ligue 1 games because the way we have to play in the league compared to the UCL is big. In the UCL teams don’t just sit back and pray for a counter attack, it’s a more open game and more back and forth. It’s still sad to see us eliminated this early but I think this can only bring positive things to the team in the sense of a wake up clock.
If we played the way we did after the 0-1 goal we would have won 5-0.
Also Barcola needs to be sold or donated to some other club I don’t really care.

  6. I’d love to hear all the people saying how are team is amazing and that the team is just going to click out of nowhere. This was PFC, one of the worst team in ligue 1. Our lack of finishing and the technical level were so so poor.

  7. Regardless of the result (which I ultimately think will be beneficial for us as the boys will get proper rest between matches, they need it badly as they’re burned af), I’m really tired of Barcola’s stinkers, it’s like as soon as he gets an opportunity I know he’s not gonna finish it… And guess what, I’m right 95% of the time

The choices our attackers made were shambolic, always tried to shoot when there was an obvious pass (dembouz shooting instead of passing to Bradley), although Warren is doing a great defensive job, we can clearly feel we’re missing Hakimi on the transitions and the attacking balance of the team feels off when he’s not playing

  8. Tough loss, but seems like we were overdue for a game like this. GG Paris FC. Big win for them.

  9. What the actual heck. These last few games, same worrying trend: forwards are playing basketball, as tho this is a 1:1 game. No trust. No selflessness. Dembele, Doue, worst of it in this match. Even Mendes was falling into the trap. Lucho will turn this around. But this is painful painful painful.

  10. I’m kind of gutted by how this game went. We were mostly shit Beraldo was good, WZE was good, Barcola had some flashes but was mostly middling, and everyone else was bad. But the way Paris FC played the end of the match had me absolutely disgusted. I liked to follow them, but that disgusting tackle on Dembele and their reaction for the last 20 minutes were shameful. Ramos was once more shit when he started, couldn’t make any good one touch pass to progress the game. Everytime he gets an opportunity to start he scrambles it.

If there’s one good thing, it’s that it’s been a while since we’ve had a big defeat. The heavy defeat against Chelsea was quickly forgotten because no one cared about the CWC much, and it was easily excused as a long season consequence + being the team to beat in Europe. There is no such excuse tonight. We didn’t play any young player, and we couldn’t do anything happen.

Mayulu hasn’t been great lately and is in a bit of a down moment. Vitinha is overplayed, but overall made poor decisions tonight. Ruiz hasn’t been good in 2026 yet.

    Tough game to watch.
