What do you make of it? Looks here like the Boreham Wood fans had seen enough 4-0 down at home.

One of the debates on what a "real" fan is involves sticking it out to the bitter end versus voting with your feet.

Here we have the home team being beaten handily, but most weeks plenty of people leave before the end like clockwork regardless of the score.

Sometimes I leave at 85 mins to beat the traffic. Takes me an hour to get home in normal conditions. When I stayed back after a champions league game it took me 3 hours to get home.

I never do it because I want to see the whole match, but I don’t care if others do, it’s none of my concern.

  3. I always want to but my season ticket buddy is a stickler to staying till the end. So I stay cos he wants to. When he can’t make it I leave around 87 mins or so to beat the rush.

  4. I don’t do it personally but I know quite a few that do. If I’m in a rush, I’ll leave as soon as the whistle for full time blows, but usually I take my time coming out a stadium

  5. Depends on the day. 8pm kickoff on a weekday most definitely. 12.30 Saturday will stay till the whistle goes

Fuck that. The result of the game has been decided and it’s cold. If you then don’t show up next week, that may question your loyalty as a fan but it’s no worry to leave early. Plus it gives the opponent’s fans something fun to cheer as you skulk out.

  7. Leaving to show your dissatisfaction with the performance ✅

Leaving just to beat the rush ❌

Leaving a win to beat the rush – season ticket revoked imo
