We’re nowhere near them financially. That’s what the Big 6 is, it’s about financial might. They have a much larger stadium and much higher revenues. Also, we need to be consistently competitive for more than just 4 seasons for us to be in that conversation.

They are the ‘money 6’ or ‘protected 6’ in my book.
I don’t want my club labelled just to try and put some clout on our name. We are Aston Villa, a founder of the football league and a historical behemoth in the football world.
We don’t want any good sway from the media, we will carry on proving our worth in our own way with Emery at the forefront and let the badly ran clubs look at us with envy that we don’t give two shits about what they do or think.
