David Moyes revealed he had already made his feelings known to former Aston Villa skipper Jack Grealish following the playmaker’s dismissal against Wolves.

The 30-year-old received two yellow cards, both for dissent, in the closing stages as Everton desperately held onto a point against the Premier League’s bottom side.

Both cautions came moments after Michael Keane had also been sent off for what referee Thomas Kirk deemed to be violent conduct when he seemed to pull the hair of striker Tolu Arokodare.

The dismissals, which left Everton with nine men as they battled to avoid defeat through nine minutes of added time, added to the Blues’ woes after their evening turned sour when Mateus Mane levelled in the 69th minute.

Everton had been leading and dominating much of the match before that goal sparked the mayhem that ensued, reports the Liverpool Echo.

Moyes, incensed by Keane’s red card, admitted he was “disappointed” with Grealish’s behaviour, who, alongside Keane, will now miss this weekend’s FA Cup clash with Sunderland.

Whilst he declined to elaborate on his views regarding the sending off, when questioned about whether he felt the need to speak with the player, he simply responded: “I already have.”
