Ya theres discrimination everywhere. But in the US we have the right to speak up about our issues without fear of being imprisoned or killed. Unlike Iran.
I wonder if the reporter has ever viewed world maps in a variety of languages. Many countries are not known internationally by the local name, much less pronounced identically. "It's Roma, not Rome! It's London, not Londres. It's München, not Munich. Bigots! Why don't you support our countries?"
Big up to both Adams and the reporter. Tyler for giving a mature answer and the reporter for pointing out the hypocrisy of the western media. It seems because FIFA was corrupt for accepting bribes, it has been open season in criticising Arab and Islamic culture. America has just as many problems just less willing discuss or confront it.
Wow extremely trashy from the reporter there. But proud of that answer💪 The reporter must have been a government shill lol, cause ain’t no way that’s a sporting question. To Eran, this is more than a game. It's a chance to paint their picture of the US to the world and I hope we show out! Not like 98’
Just call it former Persia next time or that country that doesn’t allow women to have equal rights . Make it easier for this clown.
If he’s saying in English he can say it like he did it. He doesn’t have to change his English accent to make it sound right for this “ journalist “. It’s like someone from Spain saying you can’t say Spain you have to say Espana. CLOWN REPORTER
Women in Iran have no legal protection against domestic violence, or sexual harassment by anyone. It looks like they need to stop treating their women like dirt. I commend that young man for taking the high road, but if that Iranian reporter wanted to go there I would've went there too. That reporter is the last person that needs to question somebody on their countries discrimination given his country's track record lol gtfoh
This reporter has the gall to ask that question knowing damn well a black person would be discriminated against in Iran. Matter of fact, if someone isn’t a black haired, brown eyed Muslim, they would get instantly persecuted. Unbelievable
I'm a veteran and love all my Americans and to say we bave a discrimination against Blacks on the border is dumb and uneducated. Some border patrol agents are Black, 90% of American Basketball players are Black, we have Black entertainers and create the most Black Millionaires in the world. Go to high end parties with the rich in an international event and most Blacks there would be Americans. This barrative is old and has to go!
Same country that literally has morality police, women dress from head to toe in black garments with no rights and treated like property, and religion has to be strict or you’ll get killed if you’re an atheist/other believer by some people who are radical. But ya, America is far worst then Iran
Reporter is a complete tool. Few more could be added to his dumb list that we mispronounce: Mexico, Laos, Vietnam, Cuba, Niger, Uruguay, etc.. he's expecting foreigners to correctly pronounce his language. gtfo!
That’s the best he could of said right there. Tyler Adams isn’t a politician. Unfortunately, you have a journalist from Iran asking questions based on America’s history of discrimination. If I were to ask a question about discrimination towards Iranian women, he will stay silent. It’s just clear virtue signaling from a man who is paid by the government to ask these questions for which are inappropriate.
Come on! Find me an American who is able to either pronounce IRAN or IRAQ? Americans are too insular and get insulted when told! Apparently, for a country that Americans invaded twice, you would think they would at least learn! And even their “troops” don’t know! Mind boggles at stupidity!
The interviewer acts as if he can pronounce every country correctly much less a country on the complete opposite of the world with a completely different language structure.
The reporter states you support the “ EE – rainian “ people and then goes on to say it’s pronounced “ EE-rahn “, not “ I – Ran “. Shouldn’t the reporter have said “ EE rahn- ian ( people ) ? He must have been too busy pontificating on discrimination in America. Straight up class from our captain. Even thanked him for correcting him. 24 years old and shows that kind of composure while the world is watching. I work with a woman from Iran and she tells me to call her Persian not Iranian. So I do.

I really hope we destroy them by 3-0
Handled with pure class. Reporter looks petty here.
Dumb arse reporter trying to stir up some controversy, why not use your time more wisely by asking a futbol question? Brilliant response.
Well said Tyler. Good on you 😁
Amazing courage by this reporter speaking truth to power (ffs).
ALAW💙💛🤍

The reporter was out for blood. Tyler is a class act.
What a shit question to ask a player
This same reporter will pronounce other countries names in his accent, and won't bat an eye.

Also literally mad someone is disrespecting his country by pronouncing it wrong, then goes on to rip that dudes country…
Blacks in the usa have more advantages then anybody on the planet. This Iranian must read the American press and their fantasy articles.
Bruh you’re asking a black millionaire about discrimination while gay people get thrown off buildings in Iran 😂
Good questions from the reporter. Puts the questions asked to Carlos queiroz into context
Reporter is a complete tool. Few more could be added to his dumb list that we mispronounce: Mexico, Laos, Vietnam, Cuba, Niger, Uruguay, etc.. he's expecting foreigners to correctly pronounce his language. gtfo!
the us used to abuse black labor and iran CURRENTLY has no rights for women or qualms against pseudo slave labor. hilarious. fk EYE RAN
Iran Enforced 10 Stupid Laws
1. Women are not allowed to show their hair
2. Women are not allowed to sing
3. Women are not allowed to dance
4. Women are not allowed to divorce
5. Women are not allowed to enter stadium
6. Women are not allowed to ride motorbike
7. Women are not allowed to go overseas alone
8. Women are not allowed to join military
9. Women are not allowed to become a witness
10. Women are not allowed to become a judge

Iran has no right to talk about discrimination when they actively throw gay individuals off buildings. Yes no country is perfect
From now on I’m only pronouncing it
👁🏃🏻♂️
Based Response by Tyler Adams. Interviewer was very prideful and disrespectful in tone. “Pride comes before a fall.” -Jesus Christ
The interviewer acts as if he can pronounce every country correctly much less a country on the complete opposite of the world with a completely different language structure.
You're my favorite, bro
I dont't know you, but I love you, Tyler. Keep going!
Oh Captain, our Captain. What a troll reporter. How petty and small compared to our smart and compassionate Captain.
The reporter states you support the “ EE – rainian “ people and then goes on to say it’s pronounced “ EE-rahn “, not “ I – Ran “. Shouldn’t the reporter have said “ EE rahn- ian ( people ) ?
