We're shit. We've been shit before. Game of fine margins today but I think there were signs of improvement (had to be after that dire wolves result). But we've been in worse positions and came out ok (we've also been in better positions and haven't come out ok). Idk just give me something to still hope for

Ginger Pele – would put his head in where Kilman is scared to put his toe. Probably our best CB if he came back in
Anton, Reo-Coker, Nobes – West Ham through and through, knew what it meant to play for the club and would leave it all on the pitch, even when they weren’t the best players on the pitch.
Tevez – just a magician who gave it all for us, was so vital in keeping us with his goals.
You can argue that we could get a ‘Tevez’ like figure, we only needed a Summerville goal today and he could have found that confidence and knocked a few in and lifted the gaffe. But we’ve got no core of leaders or players who truly know what West Ham is and can be vocal, and just Ginge on his own at the back gives me so much more comfort than our current backline.
Wasn’t the worst performance today and I think the new lads looked ok so hopefully we can get a streak going 🤞

The only granular of hope for something like this happening again is that, based on today’s game, Nottingham Forest are every bit as shit as us and eventually they will lose those ref calls to the bigger teams.
The important lesson from 2006/7 is that we need to illegally buy some players that are far too good for this team.
