Araujo and Christiansen has always been my favorite
They won ugly, but it's a win. As far as Xavi, it feels like he's frustrated with the low goal counts during important games, and is trying to find the key to unlock those goals. He also needs to get over Busquets, and quickly.
For that dembele has to go
I think this very formation is why Xavi should get Ruben Neves. We noticed how Busi got weak without frenkie. I believe a Frenkie-Neves pair would do better and Xavi should think more about skewing people towards what he wants and not just looking for the perfect fit. He should teach them if that’s what it takes. Again I was glad to see us create nice attacking combinations unlike previous matches. That I think is because we got Pedri in the right place. Wasn’t our best game but it gives us hope.
IdK that we won, this wlnt work against UCL teams. We gotta stop making giving them praise after one win, Why are we not investing on FDJ for next Season. We Don't have TIME, why are we using Sergio even tho he played really well. Please let us learn
Yes we are really good in la liga but what about the champions league?? We conceded 11 goals in 6 games…
It's fine to defend a lead but we should know when to punish loose defending with sharp offensive play. This has been our one biggest issue for some time. Its what Bayern did with us in the first leg: We dominated the play but they defended well and attacked sharp and decisively. That's what Europe's elite call a bad game(when they don't control the game fully). Inter did it too but against our then weaker defense
At least now we have a reliable defense compared to before where we'd sit back and give smaller teams late equalizers/wins. Such pointless passes and going back too much are what make tiki taka seem irrelevant.
I think xavi is not about sticking to a single formation he is using what we have very wisely but our attack coordination is not at that point there is nothing hee can do about that I think with time all players will understand each one and the game will be much smoother but overall I am happy with performance remember Madrid won the champions league by the same tactics so its not bad but we cant stick with it only
Barca was good with this formation till Atletico kept the low block. As soon as they started to attack after conceding, the system fell down. We could not complete 5 consecutive passes. specially Barca left side was totally exposed as there was no one to bother Atletico RB Molina. So he got more involved in attack. Xavi was very late to call Raphinha to handle that. As soon as he came, we saw that Barca was in more control.
Some games have to be win like this💪🏻

The in-game part of his managerial attributes needs a proper upgrade as soon as possible. Every game, it seems like he makes the same changes and expect different results Tonight, the move to substitute Dembélé for Ferran Torres was so unnecessary, and the other questionable subs that followed.
