Callum Wilson is in talks to leave West Ham United just five months after signing for the London Stadium club.
The 33-year-old only joined West Ham on a free transfer last August under former head coach Graham Potter, after leaving Newcastle United. Wilson signed a one-year deal with West Ham, a contract that was heavily incentive-based.
The former England international has scored four goals in 18 games this season, with his most recent goal coming in the 2-2 draw against his former club Bournemouth on November 22. Wilson previously spent five years at Newcastle, who opted against triggering an extension last summer.
Wilson’s uncertain future comes as West Ham make additions to their forward ranks, having completed the signings of strikers Pablo Felipe from Gil Vicente, a deal worth €20million (£17.4m; $23.4m), and Taty Castellanos from Lazio.

Ah now making those two striker signings makes more sense. This is fucking dumb though, he’s been decent for us
I really want him to stay he’s very solid. Also the whole point of signing the other two strikers is so we can have depth
Nuno is determined to finish west ham together with him because there is no way (unless he wants to leave) that we are letting our best striker go . He also must be really confident that his signings will work too which is bold i guess but this is the last area to do that

A real shame, because even with the two new fellas I would want to keep him as an impact sub for the last 20, but he was actually scoring when he was on, so I guess Sully would want rid.
He loves scoring against us so he needs to move to a club where he can live that dream again. God knows he’ll get more game time too.
Would be so incredibly stupid to let him go given he’s our only proven goal scoring striker on the books. On a short term deal anyway so literally no point in cutting it short before the season ends when we are in such massive danger of going down. And that’s exactly why I believe this to be true
