This was my first match since the champions league win. Life has taken me out of watching football, and watching sports in general. It’s been for the best, actually.
But man it feels good to watch PSG play again.

Decent first half but very little creativity. And that second half without doue and Dembelé was so boring. Good thing that pfc was absolute garbage going forward because they had quite a few transition opportunities.
Zabarnyi is so trash it hurts.
Just left the game. Energy was unreal and the Tifo of the Eiffel Tower with flares and lights was the best I’ve ever seen.
Game was so-so, with FC actually having some solid transition opportunities.
Dembele had some nice moves and razzle dazzle and seemingly all over the field (in a good way), but still an erratic playmaker.
WZE got a lot of touches it seems and felt confident. Vitinha facilitated a lot of plays but didn’t dominate at any point. I think not having Hakimi limits his opportunities to be creative.
Doue had a great goal but seemed to be in a walking mood tonight. Kvara was missed.
Mendes seemed solid and kept moving the ball forward and make some great tackles and steals, but also caught sleeping a few times in transition.
Chevalier didn’t seem to get tested much nor did he orchestrate the game. His PK goal given was a toss up.
Ruiz and Neves seemed to play just okay and moved the ball around, but little flare.
Mayulu was the one that disappointed me the most this game (watching live). He seemed to be quicksand or a dead end every time he got the ball.
Overall a win, and some nice highlights, but pretty tepid game. It certainly didn’t look like a UCL champion vs a #14 league team.
Kinda reminded me a little of PSG a few years ago. Some highlights, some action, but no heart tonight.
But I had an awesome time, loved going, and highly recommend coming to the Parc if you are ever in Paris!

We look good overall. The break did wonders, can’t wait to see us at full strength
The ref made a good decision to not stop the match just for 30 secs.
AM I being overly critical of how the team played or was the match just a hard match?
