It will never not make sense to me that the very first thing we did in the Summer was go all out for the Fulham lad and when that collapsed late we didn’t get in another RB in the few Months after that before the window closed when it was obviously the main priority as it was the first target we went heavily after when the window opened. A years past his prime legend and a 6’6 CB bring your 2 RB options for a Club of our size is fucking embarrassing.

Our recruitment has been baffling over the years, but the narrative always seem to be we are just talking to one player for that position, I’m sure we aren’t but who knows, you’d think there is a list of potentials and you approach them all.

We’re only going to buy a fullback if it’s a target that would be good enough to be a summer signing and not wildly above market value.
Otherwise it’ll be a loan if we can find somebody.
January simply doesn’t represent value for money and players that make us long term better just frequently aren’t available.
