The results recently weren’t good but he’s clearly a top class manager. He’s passed his audition for a Man City/ PSG-level type of job if their managers ever leave.

As an outsider looking in to me Clearlake is destroying Chelsea.
There project is a complete and utter shambles, trading players like there on the stock exchange with 7/8 year contracts, hindering and controlling any manager that comes in. No world class manager will want to come in and work under those conditions.
I actually have sympathy for their fans having to put up with this shite. I used to loathe Chelsea growing up from the Mourinho years and onwards. Which is damming inditement on what Clearlake have done since Roman had to sell up.

Aye yai yai. Not a Chelsea fan, but I think he’s a good manager and his best days are ahead of him.
I actually think he could have had those days WITH Chelsea, in time, and not too far away.
Hope he lands on his feet. If Juve and Spaletti fail to renew, I wouldn’t mind seeing him go to Turin. He’s the kind of name that wasn’t available when Juve hired Tudor, nor when they fired Tudor.

Craziness, whose next in their firing line then? Clubs have almost forgotten what it’s like to give a manager space and time to build for a longer future. I’m so glad Liverpool had the patience not to bin Slot after our recent form.

Literally a fucking joke of a club. Ownership should just appoint themselves manager since they clearly know exactly what’s best.
Gonna fucking end up with de zerbi or Thomas fucking Frank at best. What a lateral fucking move

Ouch. Mostly the club’s fault too. Have to wonder just how long it’s going to be until things work out at Chelsea. And who in the board room needs to step back to allow that to happen.

It’s the board, you cannot appoint a manager with a specific system of play and not build around that. Instead the board seem to want to sign anything with a whiff of potential profit, realistically since palmer have we really signed anyone that has been an upgrade? Just sideways signing after sideways signing.
