IMHO you can’t take much from it. Liverpool were cruising and went 2-0 up. Probably had some tea and biscuits at half time thinking they had won already. Definitely they had false sense of security. But others might say credit to wolves they came out second half and worked hard to get back into the game and put in a good performance in the second half. I’m more inclined to believe the former though.

We weren’t awful, which is a positive I guess.

We actually looked like we had a team rather than a bunch of shitty individuals.

We won the second half but hardly made up for a horrendous 90 seconds. Mane is absolutely wonderful- easily one of the best talents to come out of our academy possibly since MGW. Yesterday was Mane’s game. Second half we did most things right and the substitutions were at the right time and I couldn’t argue, especially when you take a defender, not a well-performing forward, off for Arias. Maybe Fer Lopez could’ve had a shout.

Tolu was immense but obviously it doesn’t take a lot to be the best forward. Larsen wasn’t half-bad when he came on. We had our chances that second half, especially Arias with a beautiful chance from a Larsen cutback I think but Bradley pulled up with an amazing slide. Tolu had a couple of great opportunities from headers too. We ran forward and put crosses into the box.

First half was terrible though, especially after the first 20 minutes or so. Team lost all sense of confidence after conceding the second goal. Doherty was abused that game and it had to be one of his worser performances but he just simply doesn’t have the legs to be RWB like he was played.
