In the age of streaming I can only see two options, end the blackout or extend the blackout internationally and I can’t see an international blackout happening.
There’s not going to be any Liverpool or Everton fans on the Wirral for example deciding that because they have to stream Liverpool or Everton 3 o’clock KO from an American/Australian/South African TV broadcast online and not watch it on Sky/TNT they’ll go to Prenton Park and watch Tranmere instead.

Are lower league teams going to get a financial bump to compensate?
The blackout was originally introduced to ensure ilower league crowds do not suffer due to matches being on TV 3pm on a Saturday.
