I really liked Frank but since he went to spurs he’s lost the plot a bit. That job makes you manic.

The second Liverpool goal should have been disallowed. That was an obviously wrong decision on field AND the VAR.

Ref made two correct calls early the crowd didn’t like and Spurs lost their heads with the crowd. As unprofessional performance as you’d see from a team at this level.

Simons’ tackle was terrible. Deserved the red. Outside of that he made some shocking calls. The Spence “foul” on Bradley at the beginning of the match was ridiculous.

Tbh I do get it.
Fans are incredibly punitive and expect referees to be the ‘Police’ of football matches.Doling out ‘justice’ and punishments when someone commits a ‘crime’.
But the reality is the refs there to manage and facilitate a game of football. Thats it. The Simons one is orange territory, hes a bit unlucky, it was an accident, if the ref had given a red then fine but Im not sure its so obvious an error it needed var intervention. “Could have injured him” has been the cry. What could have happened isnt a reason to card someone, if that was the case every single attempt at a bicycle kick would be an automatic yellow card at least.
Romero was an idiot and it was funny. But was that interaction really necessary for the ref to decide to issue a second yellow? Its hand bags stuff, just tell him to grow up and the two of them.to get on with it.
Biggest irony is the most dangetous tackle, VDV on Isak, wasnt even carded. That probably should have been a red.

Saw what Richarlison did to Ekitike and they’re lucky they had 9 not 8 by the end. Total head loss by manager and players.

Frank has to play into the fans to keep his job, so even if he doesn’t believe it, its what I presume Tottenham fans wanna hear.

When a manager is patting a player on the back before he disappears down the tunnel for a stupid straight red and defending other players for petulance, I feel like he’s not managing but trying to be one of the lads.

Yeah, I agree. VDV should have gotten a red for the terrible tackle on Isak as well. Richarlison as well.

Fuck off Frank. There’s a legitimate argument that Van der Ven and Richy could’ve been sent off too.

He’d be better off having a word with his players – they lost it today.

He should question his players first.

I questioned the referee’s decisions or lack very early in the game. The first red card was warranted. The second I did not see. Left the game because Tottenham are not pleasant to watch.
Take a look at referee’s calls or failure to call before the first red card was issued. Seems biased in favour of Liverpool FC.
