i have no idea if he would fit our roster or style of play. and i have watched him play dozens of times. when he’s on, he’s awesome. when he’s off, he’s invisible. double digit goals last 5 years across Denmark, Turkey and Championship. was a bit of a late bloomer. scored a worldie at last World Cup for USA. big as shit but not a pure target striker. way faster than you think. he looks like he dribbles at the pace of a peter crouch but when he runs he’s like a big ass gazelle. he can absolutely drill them from distance. good timing on his runs. seems to have adjusted to the physicality of championship so maybe that’ll translate. i just don’t know if he can break down prem cbs every week. not a large improvement over callum wilson but at least id be comfortable to reckon he can play 80-90 every week without much worry.

I’m writing up a post that goes in detail about why we might be interested in him and takes a peek at his stats and strengths (alongside some other domestic targets).
That main issue I see, ability aside, is he’s getting good game time at Coventry who are primed for the title, meanwhile we’re in a relegation battle. While I don’t doubt that joining the Prem regardless is attractive, does he want the risk of coming straight back down?
Equally on the club side I doubt Coventry would want to lose one of their main men before they come up, they’re gonna want at least a decent fee to cover him.

Jesus. Are we really that far gone that we’re scraping the championship for talent? I guess he’ll be used to that when we’re down there next year. You think this guy will actually want to be back there after his current team gets promoted? Clown show top to bottom.
