This guy is a baller
Donnt forget that kovacic knows how to break lines by driving ball forward but he is not a top class midfielders as you can see liike De Bruyne, Kroos, Modric he is lacking of precision in his final passes. he don't make enoough decisives passes he shoot so rarely. So we can put his name along big names.

He is now more pivotal than Modric in team Croatia, but Croatia knows how to use all his potential/weapons, while in Chelsea they don`t know how to use his ability`s to the full potential!!! If you watch how his teammates in Croatia are setting them self when Mateo takes the ball for a run ( when He starts, wingers are in a sprint and one midfielder takes on with him, but the third midfielder is taking his place with two center-backs, to stop any counterattack )
That actions thru him works like a charm.
I don`t know why is that not working in Chelsea, I think the problems are or is that Chelsea doesn`t have first eleven and the fact that one doesn`t know who is starting in game that is coming, Chelsea needs to have a team building seminar … hahha

Still Kovacic doesn't come with that forceful drive as a CM. RLC was such a beast during the Sarri era but injury stalled his progress. He is coming up slowly as the real CM… The Beast!
