Thomas Müller retired from Bayern Munich, turned the page, came to Vancouver to join the Whitecaps 4 months ago, and began a chapter in our (and Canadian soccer) history that we will never forget!
So enthusiastic, so humble, and always with a sense of humor, he inspires his young teammates to new levels of achievement.
And on every video from or about the Whitecaps, you find comments from Germans! Many preface their remarks by emphatically stating they are NOT Bayern fans, but they consider Müller a national treasure, and are now watching MLS for the first time in their lives!
