We literally told them when they signed that when he’s not happy he’s the worst player on the pitch. Would have been a better off load if we would have actually replaced him.
A Spurs mate of mine was ecstatic when they signed him, mainly because he thought West Ham fans would be upset (I’m too old to really care).
But he did ask me if 50 million was about right & I said he’s a 100 million pound player when he’s in the mood & a 10 bob player when he ain’t.
Spurs fan here, do you guys accept returns?
