  1. If we stick to our current strategy – our 2/3 best players, to then be replaced by 2/3 shitter players.

  2. Jan

Gomes/Andre if rumours are true on United interest

Fer Lopez disappointed with this one he lightweight but not been given time to prove himself he looks decent with the little cameos he made

Arias doesn’t want to be here

    Summer

Will be everyone on that picture we will be stripped of every player to bare bones and on the cheap. Only players that will stay are the ones that ain’t good enough to stay in the prem or none is interested in them at all

In the summer we’ll keep Munetsi, Bellegarde, Johnstone, Doc and that guy at the front who I think is Enso Gonzales. All others will be gone. In Jan we’ll lose Sa, J Gomes and Andre, probably Channy and Arias too if they can find loan deals.

To be honest, we’re down. From a financial standpoint selling our best players in Jan makes sense as we can charge a premium, and it’s not like losing them is going to make a difference in the context of us only having 2 points WITH them on the pitch. I’d start spending some of the incoming cash on proven Championship players, perhaps some who have recently acquitted themselves well in the Premier League and also try and pick up some bench players from PL sides who would love to play and don’t mind dropping down. They can all settle in for the remainder of this season and get accustomed to Edwards’ way of doing things.

If, by some miracle, we win basically every game between now and Jan and are back in contention, then, obviously, we don’t sell our better players and try to strengthen in an attempt to scrape survival, but…you’ve seen us play and you’ve seen the rest of the fixtures this calendar year. It ain’t happening.
