Dive into Bruno Guimarães’ raw post-match heartbreak after Newcastle United’s gut-wrenching 1-2 Champions League defeat to Marseille at the Stade Vélodrome—Harvey Barnes’ first-half beauty gave hope, but Aubameyang’s brace (clinical counters) flipped a “strong start” into frustration! Bruno slams the “5 minutes that changed everything” (“lapses cost us… can’t give away mistakes”), rues missed chances (“disappointed after City win”), and rallies fans: “Stick together—qualification achievable, lots left.” No excuses for fatigue (“squad depth should’ve helped”)—Magpies regroup—who rebounds? 🖤⚪

  1. Anthony Gordon is not playing to his full potential. What's happening with him. Pope needs dropped. He's making too many mistakes and burn on the left side again, not his best position. Livramento on left and krafth on right would've been better.

  2. We win on Saturday all will be forgotten. Until the next game when we go through it all again. The only consistent thing with Newcastle is Eddie continuously playing SHIT players who need to be dropped because they’re costing us valuable points. Bruno has no pace so his passing accuracy needs to be on point and last night it was terrible. He holds onto the ball far to long running towards his own goal. Then loses it. Most of our players have well and truly dropped in form this season. For some reason. And dont get me started on Pope. 🤬

  3. We were in control, score and then the mindset changed, your asking for trouble backs against the wall, ok Popes mistake was really poor, but he pulled us out the crap a few times, Anthony Gordon, what the hell is wrong with YOU.

  4. It's the GK letting the team down with his poor concentration. His poor judgement is costing us. At this level you cant just accept a GK making these mistakes. To much is at stake. Eddie needs to get his balls back from mad dog and drop POPE.

  5. It was sloppy all over the park to be fair.

Bad decisions, bad passing accuarcy. Some players are just well off it.

Gordon looked like he didnt want to be there.

Pope has had his day unfortunately. Hes a liabilty. We shouldve got Donaruma. Ramsdale isnt the longterm answer but he deserves a chance to stake a claim.

Livramento shouldve stopped the cross for the second.

Hard to feel good about this season.

  6. Bruno didn’t have the best game either but it’s fine… i don’t think we’ll get top 8 unless we somehow win our next three games including PSG but i can live with that if we do well in the prem

  7. Amount of divis in here conviently forgetting the amount of saves pope made in the game. It was a fascinating game of end to end football. But obviously, blame the obvious mistake and forget about the positives.
