No-brainer = Pope is the best keeper in the country by far. When was the last time an England keeper moved in a world cup year to be a reserve? I bet Burnley are not laughing now.

both dubs and pope will get chance in pre-season. however ,i expect us to start pope in league to make sure he stays in england squad (cups wont be enough). dubs start all cup games, i expect a decent run in both…so say 4 games in each…and thats probably enough to keep him in national team.
Dubravka will be number one at the start but then he will get injured as he always does (that’s why we got pope, dubravka is unreliable and injury prone) and Pope will be number one for the next 3 seasons.

Dubs and Pope are at the same level for me. Obvious Pope is a upgrade on Darlow.. For me neither keeper are automatic No.1 The shirt is there to be claimed. Good news for NUFC. Howe has made no secret that he wants genuine competition in every position..
Pope will be number 1. But Howe has shown he gives the current players a chance before swapping them out. So Dubravka may still get a chance at the start.
Martin should start at number one he deserves the chance been a great keeper for us over the years and kept us in the Premier league

I think it's hotter hear than it is in Spain, if it's not it sure feels like it could be. I'm happy with Nicky Pope, he's a English international, so gives Southgate more reason to come and watch us play, giving the likes of target, and Wilson, a chance to impress him and get call ups.
Great news, it's awesome that we are reinforcing positions that we already have taken care of. Our keeper and defensive line toward the end of the season was pretty decent. We are still screwed in the goal-scoring department. I hope they/Ashworth is confident about what's out there offensively. Wilson needs some backup.

I think Dubravka will play some games this season but Nick Pope hasn't came in to be a number 2, hes gonna fight to be England number 1 and no disrespect to Burnley but he should of been at a bigger club a long time ago
