as a Barca soci, with tweets to back up my stance if needed, I never saw the reason in spending on Nico Williams and am beyond thankful that he is not joining the club.

IF we were to get a player, get a cheaper BACKUP such as a Marcus Rashford, maybe even Malick Fofana depending on Lyon's willingness to sell due to relegation… but there are other positions to consider, release clauses alone, we could get Dumfries, Grimaldo, and Rashford on loan with the finances involved in Nico's deal before his 16-18 million salary, he is simply just not worth that
IF we were to spend big on a starting LW to move Raphinha centrally, Luis Diaz is better (as I have said in tweets for months) and should be our target, as he helps us win NOW, otherwise Leao and Rashford are better options
we had roughly 505 million euros as of June 30th last year (madrid had 82 million euros), before the Nike deal and VIP seats, which would bring us around 700 million or more considering all business done, do not waste that on a Nico Williams 'player for the future', when we need experience and players who have actually played in a champions league match before in order to WIN NOW
