…also the same Matt Jackson who “oversees” Wolves Women. I’m fairly up on the Women’s team, but I can’t tell you how “active” his responsibilities are to them. Him and Matt Wild (and Jeff) seem to continually “absorb” new responsibilities, as Jeff avoids hiring competent outsiders.
This isn’t, of course, to dump on Jackson or suggest he can’t possibly be a Technical Director (of course I have no idea)… but imo it’s just more evidence (if anyone needed it) that Jeff Shi is a really, really bad business manager. He can’t hire top talent and he seems to shift blame whenever possible, and push out those who push back on his decisions (Russell Jones, recently)

What an absolute shock that is, the next most senior man on the can rank gets the big job. Is he qualified? Fucking A he’s qualified – he can nod like one of those Churchill dogs you put in your car’s rearview window.
