I agree with experienced Portuguese native coach for Iran team that Ronaldo deserved a red card for the off the ball elbow on Iranian player. The Iran team could have pulled through to next round with Portuguese best player and captain out of the game. Check out utube video 'Ronaldo off the ball elbow on Iranian " for extreme close up. Everywhere else they zoom out instead of zooming in, as if trying to cover up the foul. Also, let us not forget that Nike didn't want to give Iran team shoes. Apparently, some people did not want Iran team to succeed in the games, because it would have been good for nationalistic pride and given the government a boost, which they want to avoid because they're eyeing regime change.
