If England would play the same way it plays in its EPL games, England would win trophies right and left…and with a better coach. English coaches are trash. Why would you have Trippier, Arnold, Grelish on the bench and put on Sterling who hadn't touch a ball in more than a week?
The fa are totally useless as an organisation,,,its one thing for clubs to pander a bit to players as they are assets but they don't let managers decide to stay if they want just because of a contract and you certainly don't ask players if they are happy with the manager of england because if you said you wasnt your be dropped … the fa are allowing the tail to wag the dog because they only care about their money when the nation only cares about england winning something… if you ask me the FA are powerless and have got no teeth as humans or as football administrators and it seems nobody at the fa make winning the world cup a priority to keep rewarding that clueless twat southgate for failing.

I don’t normally make comments on YouTube and I’m Irish, so I’m completely objective. Of course Southgate is not a great manager. But the obvious answer is only ONE team can win the World Cup, which means all the other countries are also losers. Sometimes you don’t get what you deserve. England outplayed France for large portions of the match. England should have won, and while I never blame a player for missing a penalty as Kane did, I don’t quite see how this is Southgate’s fault. Of course Jordan is paid to be controversial which I totally get, but anyone can mouth off. Did Jordan play football at any professional or even amateur level. The answer is No. Does that mean he doesn’t have the right to his opinion? Of course not but it always makes me laugh that it’s the people who have achieved the least are always the most harsh critics. Anyway this is Talksport so I guess I should expect this garbage

Underrated and underestimated teams make this tournament. But you have to produce something special to beat the champions, and the referee.

As an outsider (American) the English coach Southgate needs to be taken out asap if England wants to win anything. Why? In order to win anything, you need to have that edge, "that je ne sais quoi" like Jose Mourinho, but this coach is too soft. Instead of focusing on winning , the guy goes to Qatar kneeling, copying the stupidity my compatriots do and if you ask him what he stands for, the softy has no idea. You have to replace him with someone that represents England : feisty, determined, focused with a winning spirit and he is not it. England will never win anything with him, mark my words. You should never keep mediocrity around.

Southgate isn't the problem, i've watched different England teams since the eighties and have seen the players lose their bottle under all different managers. English players always miss most of their chances so its down to them??

Unpopular suggestion. Jose Mourinho… He would definitely win something but it would be ugly.
He got Middlesbrough relegated (they've never recovered), he finished bottom of the u21s 2015 group, going out at the first hurdle.
He then somehow got the full England job with a terrible resume.
He then had the two best draws in a lifetime and went out to a tiny nation of only 3 million people and a Italian team that had nowhere near the talent we had.
He has failed miserably.
And once again I'm saying the same things i have for years , that s gate is a LOSER , always was , always will be ! and it will continue and Keown talks about us with a trophy 🏆, don't make me laugh 😆. We ll never win anything with him in charge 🙄😕
