I reckon Rasmus got.knocked hard against Calgliari , and early on today he got wiped out by the keeper , honestly I think he is just a bit shaken , anyone would be , two heavy wipeouts in two games would make even the biggest guys a bit tentative , he will be fine .

brendon adams were brilliant rasmus going to be a fan’s favourite i reckon like janson was i know it’s just 1st game but i think it looks good and the first game sets the standard for the season and i really hope marsh does well i like him

We can get a win vs Southampton next week and that would be amazing platform going to Chelsea match. Something to build on right here though great start.

If Gyabi played for the U21s, why would Marsch include him in the extended squad for the Wolves game? Have we historically had to include a U21 kid who had a game 24-48 hours earlier? Just curious in general.
Kagey, on the comment re the attendance of 36,347, I refer people to Angus Kinnear's recent TSB interview. There were 24,000 applications for 7000 available tickets, so presumably 17,000 supporters would have been disappointed not to secure one. That said, I could see empty seats in the South and East Stands. Bizarre. On the game, Aaronson was excellent. He reminds me of a young Gordon Strachan on a Red Bull/Super Malt combo. Meslier was outstanding too. Harrison's first touch is sublime and he put some great crosses in but I thought he was a mixed bag overall. By contrast, Bamford's first touch was noticeably (and understandably) sub-par and he just doesn't strike me as being vocal or steely enough to be captain. In the future, I can see Tyler Adams in that role. Even though Rodrigo was annoyed at being substituted, it was a great call and the replacements really made a difference. As you say, Klich in particular was very good!
Jesse was pissed at Bamford for the chance he had just before he was brought off. As soon as he messed it up he shouted at Joffy to get ready cos Bamfords coming off. I didn’t take Jesse for a ruthless manager in that way but I saw it with my own eyes today – and i liked it 😂
Great to see that press, fight and tenacity from the lads. I worry when the legs get tiered as I think that pace is unsustainable over the entire game with the current depth in the squad, saying that tho when our subs came on we fired back up. Great to see.
The team can keep improving. We get Sinisterra back and hopefully he adapts quickly and we add another dimension.
I think Marsch may have made Rodrigo a little more trigger happy near the goal, which is exactly what he needs to be. He needs to snap quicker and back himself.
Aaronson is the man and I think he will get even better. There's one thing clear about him I think , and that is he has the same hunger as Raphinha. Aaronson is the same hunger and passion type player.
I had my doubts when he was signed but he's got the minerals to want to keep hacking away and improve. Big future.
We have made good signings and Marsch is using Klich the correct way. When the other team is worn down, Klich is useful from an attacking perspective with his passes.
Klich worked today as he played basically as a striker.
Llorente was caught out of position a few time as he lost his man.
Bamford was poor in his touch.
Summerville is going to be good.
Rodrigo need to play as a striker in a front 2 and he will be outstanding anything else is going to waste.
Fantastic result.
We looked good at times I think five subs will work for us .
But believe we will get stronger as the squad will get fitter.
Still worried about the defence at times.
Let's hope injuries are no way as bad as last season.
On Harrison – he is all
the good things we say – just need him to improve his last touch decision making when he’s in front of goal – pass it or shoot. Be decisive Jack! Rodrigo- jury still out – PB does miss chances he always has. We need that defense still sorting out its scary when they break or In And around our box. Llorente I’m still also 50/50 on.
I think ur right Kagey – it’s gonna be a roller coaster but a fab start.

Great result. Played well in parts – apart from that horrible 25mins in second half. Some solid performances (tho some blew hot & cold) but Aaronson was the stand out.

Love your content. Jesse started his career as a young kid at my club (DC United). It's great to have followed his professional career as a player and as a manager and I'm glad he's getting a shot at the highest level.

As an American I love the fact that we have some American representation. Aaronson is shaping up to be my new favorite player, we love to see it. I loved hearing the crowd today. Other MOTM performances included Struijk and Meslier for me. This was my first time seeing our new signings play, and I was overall pretty happy with it. 5th in the table!!

Good win played well bar 20 mins in the second half. Aaronson and Roca were very good. Struyk was the only weak point. It’s desperate now he was so poor. He struggling to even get back last 20 mins and his passing was so so poor. He just ain’t a full back. It’s desperate now we need a left back. Not just cos of him but Firpo no better. Aaronson is the new Strachan. It was just like watching Strachan again. All over the place always going forward. We still need another lethal goalscorer. But 8/10 today. A faster centre back is needed , left back a good striker. But that’s another 50 million will it happen ? Bamfords running at 75/80% at the moment We still need more players and more experience on the bench immediate need. Left back then striker.
Charlie Taylor would improve that defence 20%. Their header down for that goal today he was totally unmarked by Struyk !! It came from the left back spot he struggled struyk why hasn’t one been brought in cos relying on Firpo will lose us games

Regarding the ‘penalty’, the threshold for the amount of contact to be considered a foul has been increased this season. Perhaps the ref considered in was insufficient contact under the amended rule?
If we beat Southampton kage be buzz but a draw would do us too..need to watch we can keep likes of bamford Harrison with Newcastle and man u sniffing for attackers
great start …still abit more depth needed before the window closes …but the passion is there loads to work on, it will come together ..penalty definitely…not given so move on .Meslier what a keeper improving every season .Wolves gutted they expected 3 points from the fortress keep the faith early days
