I don't really like this transfer to be honest… I don't think it's a upgrade

I think it’s great that chelsea fans finally get behind a manager, but Tuchel is atrocious with our academy and Boehly has to step in and promote the cobham boys
Remember before tuchel came in rudiger was gone and was playing terrible 😕 then he became a new defender when tuchel came maybe he can do the same with ake
Why are you worried about the amount of money spent.
So far, Tuchel hasn't shown he has a lot of faith in our academy players and I'm not liking it. Why has Ian Maatsen been left out of the squad?
Ok I've found the pursuit of Frankie De Jong to be rather surprising if not almost bizarre. However, I'm indifferent on Nathan Ake and I suspect he will be used in multiple positions as the long season grinds on. He will be a good player for us. At the same time I think Colwel will eventually beat him out for the left side position of a back three or back four. On Broja, I read the same detailed article in the Athletic and came away with the impression that he is forcing his way out of Chelsea. He doesn't want to fight for his place or position in the team. He wants to be made a guaranteed starter instead of taking his opportunity he is given and forcing his way into the starting lineup.
Ale is an average CB at best. Don't get this one.

Ake is a decent defender but he is not an upgrade on rudiger, but he is an upgrade on Christiansen and Sarr
We are not signing three center backs three defenders mean 2 center backs and one full back/wingback.
If Chelsea going to behave like this and not going to rate our academy players by selling them without giving any chance we will be in trouble. Youngsters not going to sign any contracts and will be leaving for free in this case club is going to loose a lot of money by investing in development of footballers and not getting anything back.
TT gave the opportunity to Chalobah despite club ready to send him on loan last season why is someone assuming he won’t give such change to Colwill or Ampadu if they are good enough. We need minimum of 3 new defenders and Colwill and other will have opportunity to compete, do you believe they will be better and manager won’t want them?
People can’t just sit in in a corner of there room and read fake stories in internet to form a negative opinion on the club or manager.

De Jong is a playmaker but i think Nunes is a better choice because he can pkay in the pivot role along Kante
The fact that we could have used the buy back clause to acquire Ake's services in 2020 and yet we chose not to is a clear indication that he wasn't considered good enough for Chelsea FC back then. He has spent 2 seasons at Man City as a part-time player filling in where needed and is now considered by them as surplus to requirement. Given the facts presented, are we that stupid in going in for this same player to boost our defence when he has yet to prove himself worthy of sustaining a regular place in a top team? That money could have been better spent on other players that have a proven record of playing regularly for their club at a top level. More importantly, as you have alluded to….. where does that leave Levi Colwill and Ethan Ampadu, who in my opinion are better defenders than Ake? I also agree with your point made regarding de Jong. I don't feel that the position that he plays in is a priority for Chelsea since we already have Kante, Kovacic, L-Cheek, Gilmour, and we can add Mount, and Gallagher into the mix.
I hope we keep Ampadu he is very versatile as he can play the spoiler in midfield as well
Not excited at all with Ake and that's the reason why I think it will be a good deal. Alot of people are forgetting that Rudiger was bog standard before Tuchel
I don’t understand our transfer strategy, if we have any…
Ake : a player who didn’t make it at Chelsea, went to Bournemouth, good player in a bad team, then moved to Man City and can’t get a game. And so this is who we want to replace one of the best CB on the planet ?
De Ligt : we were on the verge of signing Koundé, an established French international who’s one of the top CB in La Liga. Then we change course and go all in for De Ligt, a youngster who hasn’t impressed since his move to Italy and is worth nearly twice the price of Koundé.
Raphina : a Mahrez type player, who doesn’t want to be at your club, to replace another Mahrez type player who hasn’t worked out in your system and wants to leave.
Dembele : injury prone player you’d have to pay a fortune.
Now we’re hearing about hijacking De Jong… why ? we’re so erratic.
Only Sterling seems like a good and sensible piece of business so far.
I’d like to think Tuchel knows what he’s doing and Boehly is backing him but as of right now, all this doesn’t make much sense to me.
