I like Dalot, I do. He GETS it. I wanted to make that clear.
But how good is he really? The majority of fans like him because he is better than AWB, however how low was that bar? He's a smoother carrier of the ball, no doubt, however he gets about as many assists as AWB and his crossing has been wayward most of the season.
It's sounds like I'm being harsh and I generally don't mind the player. However, do we like him because he's better than AWB or because he's an actual top level player. Fans thought (and wanted) Malacia to replace Shaw after a few good early performances. Malacia's performances have since plateaued and were seeing that he's not the attacking threat we thought he was.
Just my observations, any sensible responses for dialogue welcome.
