  1. >FC Bayern is apparently on the verge of buying a new stadium. It is primarily intended for the women’s team and the youth teams.

    >According to information from “Bild,” FC Bayern Munich is about to purchase another stadium. Since 2005, the professional team has played its home games at the Allianz Arena. The Bayern Campus was opened in 2017 for the youth and women’s teams, but the stadium there only has capacity for around 2,500 spectators.

    >This is not enough to meet the club’s high standards.

    >That is why attention is now turning to Unterhaching. FCB is expected to pay around €7.5 million for the sports park there. According to reports, negotiations are already well advanced and the chances of a successful conclusion are good.

    >The stadium is currently home to regional league club SpVgg Unterhaching. President Manni Schwabl had been trying to acquire the site himself for years, but was unable to reach an agreement with the city.

    >His deadline for the purchase has now expired – and FC Bayern could now make its move. The sports park, where Unterhaching played in the Bundesliga between 1999 and 2002, has a capacity of around 15,000 spectators.

    >They have proven several times recently that they can attract large crowds. More than 50,000 fans attended games at the Allianz Arena – a new record.

    >And what does that mean for Unterhaching? The club is likely to remain a tenant for the time being. Bayern and the suburban club have been working closely together in the youth sector for around a year now.

  2. Is there anything that mentions how this would affect the Munich Ravens, as they play their home games at the sports park as well?
