  1. Frimpong is sadly getting setup by the media to be scapegoated. He perfectly fits the profile of players who become the whipping boy in Europe.

  2. I’d really love to see both Frimpong and Bradley in the starting lineup—Frimpong could stay wide while Bradley makes underlapping runs, or the other way around. Salah would start centrally but drift right or roam wherever he wants when we’re in possession, creating a wide triangle with them. Diaz would take the left wing. Just a tactically obsessed, slightly delusional fan here😂

  3. Wouldn’t be surprised if Liverpool start playing a back 3 based on their signings. They’re also linked to Guehi who should be starting so I can imagine a back 3 of Van Dijk, Konate, and Guehi with Kerkez and Frimpong as wingbacks. Wirtz is also used to that system and I can see them getting rid of Diaz and Nunez and brining in a ST so Jota, Gakpo, Salah, and a new ST could all play up top either in a front 2 or 3

  4. If you look at how City is playing ,with 11 changes in a team and beating Al Ain 6 0 in the club world cup,it is frightening, others will say ,oh it is just Al Ain,however they qualified for the cup world cup for a reason.I mean so called unknown teams are beating are beating the likes of Psg and Chelsea

  5. Trent’s delivery hasn’t been great for the last 2 years. Twice or so a game, he does an incredible cross that has people in awe, no doubt, but his accuracy has dropped a lot and that’s not every pass. So while Liverpool are losing someone very good at crossing, it’s not that big of a gap esp because they are replacing his creativity with Wirtz.

  6. At 21 to another 21yr old. Hes not a finished product. Now under klopp I know he would be developed further. That said i have no reason to think he won’t be working on things and becoming a more improved player.

  7. City has to many players but that play the same position. For example, CB you have Dias, Akanji, Ake, Gvardiol, Reis, Stones, Khusanov. Instead of having 7 center backs and having some of them not play it’s best to sell one or two of them and get a RB where the only current players is a low level learning Rico and a midfielder in Nuñes who isn’t a natural RB.

  8. Some horrible takes on here. Steve doesn’t seem him starting on the back of bundesliga, signing for 40m and Trent leaving? Bradley is great but he’s not a nailed in starter.

  9. U guys are not the best manager in the world so yh u can't understand the genius behind pep guardiola's squad complaints 🙄

  10. Jeremie is a better defender than Trent if only for the fact he'll track back and give you 100% every time something Trent never gave his beloved club. YNWA!

  11. You guys are a bunch of buffoons! Pep’s emphasis is on team harmony if you cared enough to listen. He wasn’t whining or complaining. Nuance guys!

  12. I agree with Stevie, but I understand pep dilemma , he knows very well we have lots of players, but we also saw what happened last season with injuries, especially also we know how what will happen if players aren't sold. We also know that when the squad is fully fit, he'll be having selection headaches… We have until August 31st to sell players and loan players.

  13. Frimpong is brought in to be Salah understudy. He will take over for Salah when he goes to the AFCON and will sub in frequently throughout the season until he is groomed to take over for Salah when he leaves. It's a 2 years project by Slot to see if he can have a seamless transition once Salah leaves. He won't play RB full time over Bradley

  14. Steve Nicole n his friends on panel wat do u people smoke before coming in dat studio coz from 1st day of January to 31st de last day of December or I hear from these guys it's trash after trash these guys behave like small kids of 5yrs old always negative

  15. Nicol was a great player, but he’s not the brightest, something the Scottish Southport Mafia (Dalglish, Gillespie, and Hansen), plus Souness used to mock him for. As if Slot hasn’t thought about the Frimpong and Salah positioning! Nicol talks as though they will constantly run into each other when the opposite will be the case after the initial training sessions. Salah and Frimpong will take inside or outside runs, depending on the situation. Nicol has been watching too many Keystone Cops movies since living in America, he’s seen them running into each other!

  16. Frimpong will do great at lfc he has such a brilliant team he has entered into salah n co will be there to receive his passes whenever he decides to make his move

  17. Guardiola still talkin nonsense. He “doesn’t want to have 5 or 6 players just in case”. Doesn’t he have like 18 midfielders?

  18. Unfortunately for City’s player Grealish he was sold by Villa to City for far too much money, he wasn’t and is still not a £100 Million player, his best move would be too EFC or West Ham.
