Grealish was a key player in the treble season, some of these guys are so annoying with how little they know about other teams
Id take grealish cuz he was a 9/10 in that treble winning season, and he was citys most consistent player by far in the first half of that season. A big argument against grealish was his G/A, but that season, he was popping with a lot of big goals in big games for city that season.
One is remembered as the greatest strikers in english football history (even without winning trophy)
Other will be remembered as the most drunk flop 100 million washed player ever. (But winning any trophy)
One will be remembered for his goals and records, the other will be remembered for his calves.

Kane is hands down one of the most overrated players in the entire history of the sport of football.

This “trophy” narrative is something Ronaldo fans came up with after he won the euros and the three peat. Because there was no metric in the footballing sense he was better than Messi at. Anyone who has two eyes can see Messi is better. But with trophies there are numbers that can be debated with for the sake of it. And Messi had lost 3 back to back finals with Argentina. That narrative just bled into every footballing discourse, and now people are just sheepishly yelling “muh trophy” while comparing players who are very clearly stratospheres apart in quality and career. Twitter ruined football forever.

This is actually crazy anyone is picking Jack here. He’s a great player but Kane is Spurs’ all time top goalscorer, 2nd all time in the Prem, Englands all time top goalscorer and England CAPTAIN… who wouldn’t want to be one of the greatest strikers off all time who also captained their national team??? Meanwhile Grealish has scored just 17 goals in 4 years at City spending more time on the bench for club and country than on the pitch… it’s not even close. Trophies ≠ Legacy
