  1. I would of said no at the beginning of the summer due to our PSR troubles and his wages. However, we've just signed Jadon the mercenary Sacho whos on a similar wage? I think Jack also has a free reign under Moyes to drift and dribble. I doubt he'd have this freedom under Emery.

  2. I think we should have signed him I thought that the reason we didn't sign him was because of wages and having to comply with UEFA but then we sign Sancho on the same money. We missed out big style

  3. He's an incredible player. I always thought he was good, but I didn't realise he was this good. We've actually been very fortunate with the current front line we've found ourselves with in Grealish, Dewsbury-Hall and Nidaye. They all accommodate each other very well and look like they've been playing with each other for a couple years.

  4. I wasn't for it, but after the dross we've served up in the first three games and the way jack has been marauding through defences for fun, yep i'll admit it- we missed a trick there.

  5. I really don’t think it would have worked out as well as everyone thinks, I’d love to have him back, but Emery’s system is all about control, Jack wouldn’t naturally fit in with how we play now

  6. Yes … Having purchased Sancho on his wages … But he wouldn't have been the Grealish we saw him as … It may not seem it at present but we're more of a team than just give it to Jack as we were

  7. Well, according to Capology. He’s on 225 grand a week at Everton. So yeh, we can’t afford him this time. However, if he has a great year. I could see a permanent triumphant return next summer once our restrictions have been lifted…. 👀

  8. His reaction & especially his father's reaction to Villa fans giving him a bit of stick last season was telling, his dad's reaction was totally OTT. I think bridges have been burned on both sides. I don't think he wanted to return to us.

There would also be added pressure if he came back to Villa, comparisons would've been continually made with his past performances in a Villa shirt. We very a bit of a one-man team when Jack was with us & Unai has no attachment to him. In the majority of situations going back doesn't work out. Because of signing Sancho I don't think it was simply wages. If Unai had wanted him & Jack had wanted to return a deal could've been done. As I said at the start, I don't believe his love for Villa is sadly not what it once was 🦁

  9. I honestly believe that we should have gone all in for him and i think that he would have been brilliant in this team because we are much better now than when he was last with us… look at him at everton already he's settled and performing like a 100 mil player… We are a better team than everton without them having grealish and he would have made us a contender for top 4/5 but now i have a feeling that everton will be the dark horses this season and they will be challenging for the conference league spot or a go at the cups…. We have definitely missed a trick by not bringing him back…

  10. Remember when Southgate insulted Grealish and Villa when he said Jack was now a complete footballer following a season at City under Guardiola! Instead he became a typecast left wing line hugger and thereby half the player he was! Shame to think we end up with Sancho instead when 💰 is supposed to be the issue…. clear mistake!

  11. Should have signed him 1000% what ever it would have taken. Could have pushed EMI harder to leave, sold Cash and blooded one of our own RB and not signed Sancho – there’s your funds to pay Jack
