So what should KDBâs value and wages be? Please educate us all. Odd a former owner/oligarch spews out such nonsense and nobody on this show pushes back on him.
the salary levels are so high because the player agents identified that the clubs shouldn't be the ones to eat all the TV money. The players are the ones the fans watch, the club is who they support, and lets not be blind here, the club makes way more than all the players combined in terms of TV revenue, so a fair portion going to the players is reasonable. The reason then it is inflated is because there are so few players and the TV rights are worth so much, so even if they only get to divide up say, 10% of TV revenue amongst the players, the wages from an external point of view will be excessive as there is not many people to divide it up amongst.
