Newcastle United have three players in the England squad for the World Cup which gets under way very soon. This is amazing news for not only the players themselves, but for Newcastle United!!
Trippier and Pope were expected to be called up but all eyes were on whether Southgate would have the balls to call up Callum Wilson who has been in great form this season. Well, he did have the balls and Callum is also going to the World Cup.

Three players who should not be in the squad based on this season’s form…Dier, Maguire, & Phillips. Shaw am not sure about, but unless there is a better alternative so be it. Grealish hasn’t been brilliant but I think he has the ability to show better than what he has done at his club…am not going to slag him off regarding his Almiron comments as Miggy has made him look quite the fool…maybe he could do same about Shelvey or Wood?

All joking aside regarding Pickford, I just don't think the constant yelling and screaming at his own teammates helps England at this tournament. Pope is cool and calm, taller, longer arms, I feel the players in front of him would have much greater confidence with him in goal. But I couldn't be happier for Wilson, cmon England!

I know this will carry a bit of biased. But i genuinely think Kane would do well in a 4-2-3-1 as the 10, with Wilson at 9. I feel like what Wilson does in terms of stretching the opposition is such a positive! Kane is so so so good, but he drops in, which makes any team he plays for less expansive, and England’s wide players aren’t goal scorers…
I feel like that’s why Conte is struggling, his system has worked in the EPL with number 9’s that’s run in behind (Diego Costa + Lukaku) Is it just me?
