  1. Harry Wilson has a lot of skill but for mine drifts in and out of games.

I don’t think he works hard enough especially off the ball and in defence to fit into Klopp’s style of play and he will be sold before deadline day.

  2. 25 mill in the bank at a modest 4% intrest rate is another one million to spend next Summer. One million might not sound a lot but if we're unwilling to buy a player over one million fans will be up in arms. Better to let the lad go and enjoy first team football somewhere, insert a first refusal buy back clause and have more money to spend next summer, than have him languishing in the youth set up for the sake of it.

  3. I think selling Harry Wilson would be the dumbest thing we've ever done as a club.
It's got to the point where i genuinely don't believe people are actually paying him close attention when watching him play, and merely remembering his scoring-chances, thereby judging him completely on his skill from long rage as if that's all he has in his locker.
You mention the first goal, watch it again and look at Wilson's positioning…..he's there, in the perfect place if Bobby moves the ball instead of shooting. He's there more often than not, and i feel he falls victim to the 'Law of Playmaking', where he hasn't had someone of superior intellect dissect his game on Sky Sports, so when he looks like he's not in space he's assumed to be one pass behind and not ahead. I can assure you, after intensely studying his game this summer, his intelligence has forced Klopp into backing him, not his ability to come off the bench and twat one from 40yds. (as handy as it is to have Shaq + Wilson become footballs version of the Splash Brothers coming off of the bench).
His ability to create goal-scoring opportunities from somewhat 'ordinary' build-up play is beautiful, and simplicity in it's most artistic form.
I can 100% see where you're coming from in terms of not having an obvious role on this team, but he runs smart, drops into shape at a level above most Prem wingers, knows when to press and is quite consistent for someone his size, can finish from anywhere extremely consistently and plays the perfect foil for over-lapping full-backs. That sounds like someone who Klopp & Ljinders can find a role for.

LFC fans have been SCREAMING for another dimension, but are quite happy to sell one of the most unique wingers in Europe (on the cheap!)?
This tells me that he suffers from the aforementioned 'Law', because SO many fans assume he's lazy, not so handy in the build-up and hard to play with.

    I just don't get it.

To me, he looks like he could be the player who pushes us to our first title. I'm serious.

(£10 on one of Bobby, Mane + Salah having significant time out, with Wilson to come in, score a few important goals, and become a club legend)

  4. what were Mo's stats at 22 when he was at Basel? I'd say the Championship as Swiss league are pretty similiar competitiion …just say'in 22 is not this kids ceiling

  5. A team needs to be able to score from every possible location, every goal shouldn't have to be a pad into the back of the net. Kompany won the league for city and it sure wasn't a pass into the net that gave them the trophy. Coutinho left and everyone wanted someone that would be willing to test the goal keeper from distance and score from midfield, we have a player that showed he could do it and we want to ship him out.

  6. I think we should keep Harry Wilson. Not just for Checkatrade, but as an impact sub, when a 30-yarder might unlock a game for us. He offers a different way to win, rather than more of the same. Try it for a season and review at season's end.

  7. I don’t thing FSG are fully committed to Liverpool Fc because now we should be buying players to challenge for Premier League Title and there not , we only need a few tweaks here and there .

In nearly eight years FSG have only spent £160 Million that is not committed , FSG seem to prefer buying young players to bring them on and make a huge profit in the future just like Coutinho .

If we at Liverpool Fc have an injury crisis with our front three , we won’t get a top four finish never mind winning the league .

I fell now we should be taking the initiative and we’re not , which makes me feel the way I do about FSG .

  8. If Liverpool ain't buying nobody this window then Wilson in amongst the first team week in week out as mane back up should be fine. Better than not having mane get rested sometimes

  9. WE NEED KEEP HARRY WILSON, DON’T AGREE WITH THAT GUY ON RIGHT IN DARK CLOTHS WHO HELL IS HE HE LOOKS 60 years old NOT 22 YEARS OLD OH DAN OSDEN HIS NAME ? HE IS WRONG HE DOES NOT KNOW WHAT HE’S TALKING ABOUT IS HE A EVERTON TROLL LOL 😂!!

  10. play shaq as left wing cover and harry wilson as right wing cover for salah. i think positionally and traits wise wilson is the most similar to salah, the most important being his ability to finish chances. on the downside, he may be shite when playing alongside shite, is the kind of player that needs quality around him to shine.
people complain he doesnt do much in build up play but how many times have we complained about our midfield playing side to side with no end product? so why not keep someone for those low block games to contribute end product and let the rest do the build up?

  11. They Will probably sell Wilson and keep injury prone lallana around. Your the type of guys happy to see wijnaldum up front or on the left wing to cover mane because klopp thinks that's good enough if he had a fancy name you be raving about him

  12. You know I love you guys big time… I have to ask though. Where’s Robbo? I know he’s doing bits elsewhere, but he’s still about right?

  13. If we're not buying anyone it would be mad to sell him. And to say that he doesnt fit our style of play is silly. We dont want players with all the same attributes, we need some diversity of skill. He's valuable because even when he doesnt score, he's a threat from distance that other teams have to respect/close down, which, in turn, will create more space for the others. Seems like a great option to have off the bench especially when we get stuck against teams that are packing it in.

  14. Elephant in room…..

We need a Top CL quality player x2 .

If not , repeating huge mistakes made in 05 after Istanbul.
Ask yourself would Madrid , juve , barca Not buy …de ligt, greizmann.
While Lpool ….fuck about . And these podcasters Avoid the subject .
The squad is not as gd as City's even reds fans know this.

Fsg give Klopp money for Fernandes. Or he'll go to United and even he does want that.

  15. If sold needs to be replaced by a better quality player. Left ⬅ sided players of Harrys quality are very difficult to find. Do Fenway need to line their pockets yet again? Keep,he's a fantastic option B or A.

  16. When Salah, firmino & Mane are on he pitch, they start defence from the top end, with their pressing and being a nuisance to opposing team. Then that filters through to rest of our team

We need to keep Wilson! Even if he comes on as a sub every now n again, and does that. That’s exactly what we need. Someone that can change a stalemate game

  17. Origi stayed, older than Wilson and he was instrumental last season. For backup, we may be relying on Brewster, 19 with no PL experience and just had 12 months out and Origi. What about Grujic? He's 23, no sign of moving just yet. We have 8 quality midfielders for 3 shirts but only 3 proven quality forwards for the 3 shirts up top. Concerned – a tad, yup.

  18. Look at Trent, Origi need time and support from team, definitely give the young players a chance. Kent, Wilson are good enough and will only get better

  19. Harry is a class youngster… he’s good enough to be around the team, he’s young, willing, and quality. He adds another option of not only fresh legs but style. Let a Sheffield wed sit in their box, we can send a young lad on who will not only run at them in their own box but the potential to smash a ball from 30odd yards out. He could come on 60th minute in a tight game and offer something Hendo gini milner nabi lallana don’t offer. We have been all waiting for OX to return, as he adds pace and threat well for me Wilson does the same but has no injury concerns. Get the young lad involved he’s good enough. Cmon the reds! ⚽️
