Real Madrid will not be able to win any silverware or championships this season as they are not yet a good and world class team.
They have a new coach in Xabi Alonso and he is still is learning how to become a great coach.
Real Madrid's main issue is that many of their new and young players are inexperienced and still learning and adapting to a new system with all new players, it will take time to adjust and learn and it is doubtful that it will happen this season. It takes time to build a world class team.
Real was very slow in replacing several great players who unfortunately left this team, by either retiring or transferring to other teams. Players like Kroos, Benzema and Modric.
These were world class players and replacing them is very difficult. So far the right new players have not replaced these departed players. It is hard to fill their great experiences.
It is going to take time for Alonzo and all the new and existing players to adapt to each other and become a world class force. Sadly I do not think that this miracle is going to happen quickly, not this season, and maybe it may happen next season if we are lucky.

The issue is our balance if off. We have 2 8's with essentially the same profile. Jude and Fede are both box to box & if Jude is playing with a 9 like Mbappe he doesn't have as many chance to crash the box, therefore his only No.10 quality is gone. We Need Arda to play in the 10. Honestly idc at this stage who play RW put Fede or Jude there But not Arda he is essential in that midfield, he retains possession, is good in tight areas and can pick out a good pass to start the attack. Honestly speaking we never needed Jude or Mbappe but Alonso has to try to find the balance with all these players. I think the best bet is to play Jude with Tchouameni in a double pivot put Arda in the free roaming 10 position and play Fede RW.
I hope Xabi does learn. The 2 big games they got trashed he basically made the same mistake, PSG he started Mbappe who hadn't played any CWC games and Atleti he started Bellingham. What's the point having different players prove themselves if big players can start with no match fitness?
Madrid did not look balanced, especially with the subs Xabi made. Theu had 4 players playing on the left side and had Franco alone on the right with a CB behind him. Rodrygo, Vini, and Mbappe cant be on the field at the same time if rodrygo is demanding the left side because the other 2 naturally drift left too.
Luckily for Real, La Liga doesn’t seem to be great. Their challenge will be to not let Barca do the double over them.
