  1. Thierry Henry sometimes lives in a bubble with his questions..Asking Foden about playing while in pain.😢😢Like seriously you guys play 90 minutes for a buttload of money, while other people work 20 Hours daily for a fraction of that. Like he should do his Job, pain or not..I mean😢🤕Easy Life privilege

  2. Maybe it's just me, but I've felt for a while now that Henry tends to underplay Haaland whenever he talks about him. He says things like "we all know…" and "of course, he's top, but..". I can't help but notice a tendency to praise him, as the situation or question may call for, but subtly conclude that it's not that big of a deal.

Whereas, when he talks about Mbappe, it's the completely opposite. He sometimes criticizes Mbappe when there's no reason to do so, but follows it up with indirect praise or suggestions that he's actually performing exceptionally well despite "circumstances". "He has a lot of room to improve" after an outstanding performance, is a classic one. Sounds like criticism, but suggests that his top level is not his top level.

It just comes off as dishonest to me. Then again, maybe I'm the only one who's been picking up on this. A lot people seem to praise Henry as a pundit, but it seems to me that he sometimes conveys the messages he wants to convey, without making it obvious. In Haaland's case, that's usually harsh criticism woven into modest praise.
