  1. We can't be forgiven from the next generation if we give it to dembele or raphinha. No matter the numbers… Yamal is a better player, pedri and vitinha are better player's. Dollarumma have a greater legacy, mendes and hakimi is a better story. Mohammed Salah and mbappe where the scariest nightmare for every defender!

  2. Yamal being considered for the ballon d'or is truly laughable. If he were 23 or 24, I don't believe that would be the case. He had a good season, but there were 10+ players that were better.

  3. These type of stats breakdowns, while interesting, tend to heavily favor forward players. I'd argue Hakimi deserves a mention. He doesn't have the shiny stats but he scored and created plays on both ends, in so many critical games, including the UCL final.

Nuno Mendes also deserves a mention. He absolutely shut down so many important strikers, including Salah, and he scored and facilitated when it mattered. He also won the Nations League with Portugal…

All this to say, stats matter but they tend to be overly biased toward forward players. It's a team game and sometimes a right back is your most crucial player!

  4. Salty because their best players(yamal and raphina) did not win CL. 😂😂🥱……Dembele hakimi vitinha all deserve it over any barca player. 🥱🥱🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️🚶🏾‍♂️🚶🏾‍♂️

  5. People are quick to highlight the ‘more games’ part to taint Raphinha’s record when it in fact was just one more game. 2 extra games in the group/league yes, but 1 less game as Barca didn’t make the final. Also, in 19/20, Lewandowski played less games as well because that was during Covid.

  6. I know that this show changes nothing, the name has already been engraved; however, Dembele is the clear favourite because that wasn't just any UCL title, it was the first, also if PSG lost everything the blame would've gone to him so why should he miss out on the praise? Personally I think Dembele was smart to be out injured this period.

  7. In my Opinion France Football should adjust the voting criteria. Trophies SHOULD be a factor, but not the main factor. You have to also look at impact on the team and overall performance THROUGHOUT the season. At the moment everyone knows Dembele will win because he won the UCL, and for me thats a little unfair. Raphinha has been miles better, and from Day ONE, not from January like Dembele

  8. Let's keep deceiving each other. If the streets vote, neither yamal nor dembele would be in 2 top 2. The best player last season was Raphina, followed by Sala. The rest can go to sleep, but of course, they will give it to dembele. French player + french award

  9. Ronaldo won it without winning any major trophy. Messi won it in a year. Welshly won treble. If Inter beat Psg, none of their players stand a chance. So all these paded statistics pissed me off. If I'm to choose based on all round. Yamal is ahead.
