Paris Saint-Germain were on Saturday preparing for a home game against Lens in Ligue 1.
On maximum points after three rounds of the season, PSG will be without star forwards Ousmane Dembélé and Désiré Doué.
Both were injured on international duty with France and face several weeks out.
The injuries prompted PSG to write a letter to the French Football Federation, “urgently calling for a new, more transparent and collaborative medical coordination protocol between clubs and the national team.”
In a statement, PSG claimed that the French national team was provided with medical information concerning workloads and the injury risk to its players, and that France coach Didier Deschamps and his staff seemingly overlooked the advice.
