Tyler Adams Richard Williams (born February 14, 1999, Wappings Falls, New York) is an American football player, midfielder for RB Leipzig and the US national team.

Adams is a graduate of the New York Red Bulls. On April 14, 2016, in a match against San Jose Earthquakes, he made his MLS debut at the age of 17. Tyler scored a double against DC United on September 28, scoring his first goals for the New York Red Bulls.

At the beginning of 2019, Adam joined the German RB Leipzig. On January 27, in a match against Fortuna Düsseldorf, he made his debut in the German Bundesliga.

In 2015, Adams took part in the World Youth Championship in Chile as a member of the US youth team. In the tournament, he played in matches against teams from Nigeria, Croatia and Chile.

In 2017, Adams won the CONCACAF Youth Championship in Costa Rica as part of the US Youth Team. In the tournament, he played in matches against teams from Panama, Mexico, El Salvador and Honduras.

In the same year, Adams took part in the World Youth Championship in South Korea. In the tournament, he played in matches against teams from Ecuador, Senegal, Saudi Arabia, New Zealand and Venezuela.

On November 14, 2017, in a friendly against Portugal, Adams made his US national debut. Tyler scored his first national team goal against Mexico.

Adams was included in the US national team’s application for the 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup, but due to injury he could not go to the tournament, his place was taken by Reggie Cannon.

On June 9, 2021, he eliminated the US national team with the captain’s armband for the first time in a friendly against Costa Rica (4-0).
